WikiKsour

A Wikimedia meta-wiki initiative, launched in 2021, that proposed a coordinated documentation effort for the ksour of Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia. The page documents the rationale for the project — particularly the observation that three quarters of Moroccan ksour are in significant disrepair and that media coverage of the broader ksour landscape across the Maghreb is minimal.

The project itself appears to have stalled. The meta-wiki page remains as a record of an institutional gap that was identified but not filled, and serves as a useful reference for the scale of the documentation problem the field faces.
